GOTAFE Air-conditioning and Refrigeration apprentice Ryan Hayes has been selected to participate in the National WorldSkills Competition in 2023 following a gold medal win at the Regional WorldSkills Competition in August.

Three GOTAFE engineering apprentices have excelled in the Regional WorldSkills Competition, winning gold, silver and bronze.

Five GOTAFE students, based in the Wallan region, have received $2000 scholarships thanks to funding from Community Bank.

GOTAFE is the only TAFE in Victoria that offers diplomas in Viticulture (AHC51519) and Wine Technology (10614NAT), both of which are delivered part time and mostly online, making them an ideal fit for those living further afield or wanting to learn while working.

GOTAFE and Wodonga TAFE celebrated the launch of the Regional WorldSkills competition recently.

GOTAFE recently welcomed the appointment of the Hon. Candy Broad as Chair of the Board. This appointment was effective from 1 July 2022.
