Student Inductions
Student inductions are vital in helping new students prepare for studying with GOTAFE. Inductions are a compulsory part of the student journey, ensuring each student is able to make the most of their time in the classroom, online or in the workshop.
What to expect
This will be a chance to have any questions answered before you start studying with us at GOTAFE plus:
- You can meet fellow students
- Learn about our IT systems
- Get some early advice from out careers advisors
- Meet our Student Success team
- Take care of tuition and fee payments hassle-free at our reception

You can confirm your place at any of our Get Ready sessions by clicking one of the following buttons.
You are only required to complete an induction once, so if you are in your second/third year with us, you don’t need to complete an induction.
The inductions have been designed to be delivered in three formats to cater for all of our students and apprentices needs.

Your sessions options are:
- In person at one of our campuses;
- Online through a recorded meeting;
- Through a self-paced module to be completed anytime through our online learning platform GoLearn.
