The $10.7 million project for GOTAFE’s new world-class training facility in Shepparton appoints one of Australia's leading architects.

The Victorian State Government recently announced a new Women in Apprenticeships fund, which seeks to remove the barriers faced by women wanting to start a rewarding career in traditionally male-dominated trades like plumbing, electrical and aviation.

Australia's leading refrigeration, air-conditioning and allied industries wholesaler donated equipment and training valued over $8,000.

The funding will go towards stage two of the expansion of the GOTAFE Goulburn Trade Training Centre at Archer Street in Shepparton.

GOTAFE has partnered with FRV Winton Solar Farm and established a unique scholarship program that will provide three new Electrical Engineering apprenticeships in the solar and renewable energy sector.
