The Careers & Futures Expo is a free event, hosted by GOTAFE and Wodonga Tafe designed to help attendees explore study options, training pathways and career opportunities.
If you're still figuring out what's next, the Expo is a great place to discover different industries, browse career ideas, and learn about the study and training options available to you.

Is the Expo free to attend?
Yes. Attendance is completely free, however we ask that you please register to help us plan for the event and keep you informed about updates. Register here.

What can I expect at the Expo?

Can parents or guardians attend?
Absolutely. Parents and guardians play an important role in career and study decisions, and are encouraged to attend. The Expo provides information and resources to help support future planning conversations.
Can I learn about apprenticeships and traineeships?
Yes. You'll be able to speak with industry representatives and GOTAFE staff about apprenticeship and traineeship pathways, including school-based and post-school options.
What should I bring?
It is not a requirement for attendees to bring anything to the event. We recommend bringing:
- A notebook or device for taking notes
- Questions about courses, careers or industries that interest you
I’ve registered and now I cannot come, what should I do?
If you can no longer attend the Careers & Futures Expo, please update or cancel your registration through your TryBooking account. This helps us manage attendee numbers and ensure places are available for others who wish to attend.
If you're having trouble accessing or updating your booking, please contact the GOTAFE team and we'll be happy to assist via events@gotafe.vic.edu.au.
I can't make it to the event, but I'd still like to visit a campus or speak with someone about studying at GOTAFE. What should I do?
If you're interested in a specific course, we recommend visiting the course page on the GOTAFE website and submitting an enquiry directly from that page. This will help start the process to connect you with the most appropriate team member or trainer.
If your enquiry is more general, or you'd like to arrange a campus tour, please submit an online enquiry here and we'll help connect you with the right person.
Our team can provide information about study options, pathways, student support services and campus facilities, even if you're unable to attend the Expo.
How do businesses and industry representatives’ partner with the event to exhibit?
We welcome expressions of interest from businesses, employers, industry groups and community organisations interested in exhibiting at the Careers & Futures Expo – whether it be one event or at both the Shepparton and Wodonga events (if relevant).
To learn more about exhibitor opportunities, please review the Information Pack and complete the Exhibitor Expression of Interest (EOI) form. Our team will review your submission and contact you regarding availability and next steps.

Can I attend both Wodonga and Shepparton Expo events?
Absolutely! Each event holds information for courses and industry partnerships that are relevant to each region. This means that there are some careers areas and courses that are on show at both events, and some that are unique to each event.
