Digital certificates via My eQuals

What is My eQuals?

My eQuals is a secure digital platform used by universities and TAFEs across Australia to issue academic documents. Once you complete your course, your certificates and transcripts will be automatically available in your My eQuals account, where you can view, download, and share them anytime, anywhere.

After completing your course, you'll receive a text message from GOTAFE and an email from My eQuals with instructions to access your documents. If you already have a My eQuals account, simply log in. If not, follow the prompts to create one.

What documents will I receive?

When you complete your course with GOTAFE, the following documents will be automatically issued to your My eQuals account:

1. Certificate – Your official qualification certificate for the course completed.
2. Academic Statement - A detailed record of all units you studied and the results you achieved.
3. Statement of attainment - Issued when you complete individual units rather than a full qualification.

How to access your documents

You will receive your documents within 10 business days of completing your course. Here's what to expect:

1. Receive a text message from GOTAFE

We'll send you an SMS to let you know your documents are on their way.

2. Receive an email from My eQuals

My eQuals will email you with a link to access your documents. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few days.

3. Log in or create your account

If you already have a My eQuals account, log in with your existing credentials. If not, follow the link in the email to create one — it only takes a few minutes.

4. View, download, and share your documents

Your documents are available in high-definition digital format, exactly as they appear on paper. You can share them directly with employers or institutions at any time.

Sharing your qualifications

My eQuals is an easy way for you to share your documents with employers or other training providers who may need to check your qualifications. You can also control who has access to view your documents, and check when they are viewed.

Already graduated? Request a digital copy

If you completed a course with GOTAFE before My eQuals was introduced and would like a digital copy of your certificate added to your My eQuals record, you can request this for a fee of $20.
