GOTAFE Orientation
GOTAFE Orientation sessions are vital in helping new students prepare for studying with GOTAFE. Orientations are a compulsory part of the student journey, ensuring each student is able to make the most of their time in the classroom, online or in the workshop.
What to expect
This will be a chance to have any questions answered before you start studying with us at GOTAFE plus:
- You can meet fellow students
- Learn about our IT systems
- Get some early advice from out careers advisors
- Meet our Student Success team
- Take care of tuition and fee payments hassle-free at our reception

You can confirm your place at any of our GOTAFE Orientation sessions by clicking one of the following buttons.
You are only required to complete an orientation once, so if you are in your second/third year with us, you don’t need to complete an orientation.
You also do not need to complete one of these Orientation sessions if you are enrolled in the VDSS program.
The orientations have been designed to be delivered in three formats to cater for all of our students and apprentices needs.

Your 2026 GOTAFE Orientation session options are:
- In person at one of our campuses - Book a session day, time and place;
- Online through a recorded meeting - Watch induction session online;
- Through a self-paced module to be completed anytime through our online learning platform GoLearn - Access online self-paced module.
