GOTAFE and Charles Sturt University are partnering for the upcoming Connected Learning: Pathways to Industry event series this October.

The series has been designed to empower community members exploring career changes, upskilling opportunities and further education.

Starting on 9 October, each session will run on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm at GOTAFE’s Tone Road, Wangaratta campus.

The sessions provide participants the chance to discover how vocational education can connect them to university and real-world career opportunities, and feature presentations, speed dating style sessions with teachers, time for questions, networking opportunities and complimentary snacks and beverages.

6-8pm, 9 October - Workshop 1: Career Change - Pathways from TAFE to University to Industry

Explore how GOTAFE and Charles Sturt University can support your transition into a new career.

Guest speaker from Templeton Advice Group will unpack the costs of education, including HECS, to support informed planning.

6-8pm, 16 October - Workshop 2: Community Services to Social Work, Aged Care, Disability & Health

With demand rising in the care sectors, this session is ideal for those looking to start or grow a career in health and community services.

6-8pm, 23 October - Workshop 3: Research - Finding Real-World Solutions

Discover how developing research skills can help solve industry problems and create new study and career opportunities.

6-8pm, 30 October - Workshop 4: Education, Early Childhood & TAFE

Explore pathways into the education sector, from early childhood to secondary teaching. Ideal for those transitioning careers or furthering their role in education.
