The GOTAFE Class of 2025 Completion Celebrations are all about recognising your hard work, commitment and the achievement of completing your qualification.

This is your moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate alongside your classmates, teachers, and up to two guests who supported you along the way.

We’re hosting two Completion Celebration events for you to choose from:

  • Shepparton – Archer Street Campus
    Tuesday 28 April
  • Wangaratta – Tone Road Campus
    Thursday 30 April

On the day, you’ll enjoy:

  • Time to celebrate and reflect with your classmates, teachers and supporters
  • An afternoon tea
  • A professional photo to mark your achievement
  • Access to academic gowns for use in the professional photo area

The GOTAFE Class of 2025 Completion Celebration is a free of charge relaxed, informal event recognising your hard work, skills and achievement in completing your qualification. It’s a chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate alongside your classmates, teachers and supporters. This is not a formally seated event.

The event is for GOTAFE students who completed their qualification in 2025. You’re welcome to bring up to two optional guests who supported you along the way.

Yes. We understand children are proud to join in the celebrations. However, they will be included in your two maximum guests. Closer to the event, we will contact attendees and advise if additional guests can be included based on capacity.

Yes. Registrations are essential to attend.

You’ll need to register for your chosen event to secure your place and include any guests attending with you.

This celebration is about you — recognising your success, celebrating your skills, and marking a major milestone in your learning journey. It’s a moment to be proud of everything you’ve achieved.

No — you can choose the event that suits you best.

  • A professional photo to mark your achievement
  • Opportunities to connect with classmates, teachers and GOTAFE staff

There’s no formal dress code. Most attendees choose smart casual – wear something you feel comfortable and proud in for your photos.

Yes. A professional photo station will be available on the day. This is included as part of the celebration and is a great way to capture your achievement.

Yes. Academic gowns will be available to wear whilst at the professional photo area.

Yes. An afternoon tea will be provided for attendees and their registered guests. Dietary requirements can be entered during registration.

Yes. GOTAFE campuses are accessible. If you or your guests have specific accessibility needs, you’ll be able to note these during the registration process or contact GOTAFE in advance for support.

Some parking is available on campus at both locations, and event signage will be in place on the day to assist with directions. More information will be provided on this webpage and emailed to those registered prior in the week before the event.

GOTAFE is also exploring the availability of courtesy bus services for the following events:

  • Shepparton: Archer Street Campus: 
    Courtesy bus from Seymour to Shepparton
  • Wangaratta: Tone Road Campus: 
    Courtesy bus from Benalla to Wangaratta

 During registration, you’ll be asked to complete an Expression of Interest to indicate whether:

  • You would likely use the courtesy bus
  • You would like more information
  • You would not use this service

This information will help GOTAFE determine demand for transport services. Further details will be provided if the services are confirmed.

No. Completion Ceremonies are not compulsory. Official certificates are mailed to students following completion of their studies to the requirements of the course.
