At GOTAFE we understand that there is a lot involved in choosing study. Sometimes financial hardship can be a barrier to achieving your study goals. That’s where GOTAFE is here to help.
GOTAFE have a number of scholarships that are available across various learning areas and study departments. These scholarships can provide a waiver or a reduction of tuition fee, student services, IT fees and may include other related educational expenses.
Who can apply?
You must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa (PHV) who’s facing financial hardship. If you’re under the age of 18, you’ll need to obtain parental/guardian consent before submitting a scholarship application. Each scholarship and grant may have differing selection criteria, please refer to the links below for full terms and conditions.

2018 Greenham GOTAFE Dairy Scholarship – Applications Close 30 January 2018.
Applicants – Be at the ready – $12,000 could be yours!
HW Greenham & Sons are pleased to announce the Greenham GOTAFE Dairy Scholarship is open for 2018. Remember, it’s open to immediate family members, sharefarmers, employees or interns of anyone who has sold cattle to H.W. Greenham & Sons Pty Ltd, during 2017 – either over the hooks or at any of our live weight buying centres.
The scholarship, now in its eighteenth year, provides an opportunity for enthusiastic students between 17-45 years to apply for the substantial prize to help them undertake further education related to any sector of the dairy and related industries.
Executive chairman, Peter Greenham, said that partnership reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to education, innovation and the Australian dairy industry.
“It’s very important that younger people see a future for themselves in the industry. We have built our business on servicing the dairy sector and we want to see it prosper to help build strong regional communities and local economies,” Mr Greenham said.
Past winners of the scholarship have pursued their interests in large herd veterinary issues, soil and pasture management, business and environmental management, animal sciences, dairy technology and even local medical practice.
Applications are now open and close on Tuesday, January 30th 2018.
Rotary Club of Shepparton South Vocational Scholarship – Applications Close 26 March.
1 x $500 SCHOLARSHOP ON OFFER
The Rotary Club of Shepparton South is seeking applications for a scholarship from students currently engaged in Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma level study with GOTAFE.
The scholarship valued at $500 is intended to assist students with fees relating to tuition, materials and/or text books.
Applications close Monday 26th March and are available from Reception at Fryers Street Campus.

Rheem Apprentice Plumber Grants – Applications Open 29 January 2018.
10 X $3,000 GRANTS ON OFFER
The 2018 Rheem Apprentice plumber grants will give 10 apprentice plumbers a kick start to their plumbing apprenticeship by helping pay for TAFE fees and tools.

Liftoff – Applications for 2018 Scholarships have now closed.
Successful applicants will be announced in early February 2018.
Two scholarships are up for grabs with $1,500 per year for 2 years. Scholarships are a voucher for study fees and/or course materials and can be used at GOTAFE campuses in Seymour, Benalla, Wangaratta and Shepparton.

1: GOTAFE Youth Goulburn Valley Education Scholarship
This scholarship is $3,000 provided over 2 years – $1,500 in each year, and is available for a person aged 16 – 24 to complete a GOTAFE VET qualification in their chosen field, including an apprenticeship.
2: GOTAFE Mature Age Goulburn Valley Education Scholarship
This scholarship is $3,000 paid over 2 years – $1,500 in each year, and is available for a person aged 25+ to complete a GOTAFE VET qualification in their chosen field, including an apprenticeship.
