Student Spotlight – Tayla Anderson
The flexibility of online learning is allowing trainee Tayla Anderson to learn while she is working in her industry of choice.
A lifelong knowledge that she wanted to work with children and watch them develop from a young age led Tayla to pursue her traineeship in Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121) at GOTAFE.
While studying at GOTAFE, Tayla learns various aspects of child development and about crucial frameworks like the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). This comprehensive education is bolstered by her hands-on experience in the industry.
"I enjoy that I get to work in the industry while studying," Tayla said. "I am learning different things as I go that can benefit me while working."
One of the key benefits of studying at GOTAFE for Tayla is the flexibility of online learning.
"I like that my course is online and that I don’t have to travel anywhere for my classes. My trainer and assessor is always there to support me and she always explains what’s needed from me to pass my assignments."
