Student Accommodation Network
Short-term housing while you study
GOTAFE covers a wide geographic footprint and serves a large community. If you don’t live locally and are travelling to one of our campuses for a short block of study, we have partnered with local families that can provide short-term, low-cost accommodation for you.
How it works
For students
If you’re a current GOTAFE student and need accommodation for a short block of study, speak to your Trainer, Apprentice Support Officer (ASO) or member of the Student Success team.
We will be able to help you fill out an application and link you with an accommodation host. Please submit your application at least three weeks in advance.
NOTE: We will make every effort to match you with an accommodation host, but this may not be possible in some instances.
For accommodation providers
Once you have completed an application to become an accommodation host, you will be added to our host register.
When a student requests accommodation for a block of study, GOTAFE will match them with an accommodation host. Once a placement has been negotiated, the student will contact the host independently.
Eligibility requirements

To take part in this program, you must be a current student enrolled in any GOTAFE course.
