NECA Tech and Safety Seminar held at GOTAFE

GOTAFE's Electrical department hosted an industry event on Wednesday 6th November. The National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) Technology and Safety Seminar was held in the restaurant at Fryers Street, Shepparton. Approximately 30 local electricians attended to hear about the changes to electrical wiring rules. There was also a safety talk on apprentice supervision, industrial manslaughter rules and silica in the workplace. After the event the electrical teachers were able to do some networking and industry consultation/feedback.
