Every course taught at GOTAFE needs an industry expert with the know-how to teach it. Are you ready to take your expertise into teaching the next generation of workers in your field? Name the course area and if you’re qualified, you could teach it.

GOTAFE's Teacher Incentive Program will provide you with financial support towards studying and completing your Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116), as well as further financial support to help you in your first two years of teaching.

Start your journey as a trainer specialising in your chosen field with $10,000 incentive payments across three instalments.

What's involved?

Payments of up to $10,000 are available for people who are starting their studies or upskilling as an educator. These incentive payments will be paid across three instalments according to the following milestones achieved:

$2,000 on enrolment into TAE course
$2,000 on completion of TAE course
$6,000 after two years of teaching at GOTAFE
