The on-campus course is delivered as a dual qualification with ICT40415 Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking. This course is also conducted as a traineeship in the workplace and as a VET in Schools Program.
The 22334VIC Certificate IV in Cybersecurity is the recognised qualification to become a qualified Junior Security Analyst. Our graduates can also work in a variety of IT related jobs including: Help Desk, IT Support, Network Support, Network Administration and Network Technician.
Topics covered include:
- monitoring the risk of cyber security attacks
- implementing appropriate software
- using a range of tools and procedures to mitigate cyber security threats
- protecting an organisation from insider security breaches and developing systems to minimise network vulnerabilities and risks.
You will also be part of a Cybersecurity workplace project that will enable you to put the skills and knowledge you learn into practice and experience a real workplace situation.
