The course is completed over one year and is delivered at Dookie, GOTAFE and Wodonga TAFE campuses
The Diploma in General Studies (DiGS) could be your pathway into a University of Melbourne degree.
Guaranteed entry into undergraduate degrees in Agriculture, Science, Environments, Commerce and Biomedicine is based on requisite scores, with subject credits awarded.
If you are interested in Agriculture, a pass in DiGS subjects will articulate into the Bachelor of Agriculture with subject credits awarded for most of the first year! DiGS will give you the opportunity to try out subjects and strengthen your academic skills while experiencing university study in a supported environment, and prepare you for success before committing to a university degree.
Study close to home at Dookie, Benalla, Seymour, Shepparton, Wangaratta or Wodonga, and apply for one of the many DiGS Scholarships offered in 2015 valued up to $5000.
Applications from TAFE students are considered on an individual basis where VCE and TAFE course results, work experience, references and possibly an interview are taken into account.
