Rotary Club of Shepparton South Vocational Scholarships

Applications are now open for the Rotary Club of Shepparton South Vocational Scholarships!

The sum of $2000.00, divided into four scholarships, is available to students enrolled in a Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma program with Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE, Shepparton Campuses.

The four scholarships are available to successful applicants and are intended to assist individuals who have fees that exceed $500, including tuition fees, materials fees & books/texts required.

The focus of the scholarship fund is to ultimately support regional development through assisting local residents to enhance their skills and achieve their study goals. No age criterion applies and the scholarships can be in any area of vocational study programs at the Certificate III level or higher.

Applicants will be required to complete an application form. Students must have satisfied TAFE’s attendance and study requirements to date and obtained the support of their TAFE course coordinator. In this regard, applicants need to obtain the signature of their course coordinator at the bottom of their application form.

From this, a short list of applicants will be determined and interviewed in relation to their study and career aspirations. The Shepparton South Rotary Club would require successful applicants to provide a short address to Club members on their study and career aspirations, as a way of thanking the Club for their contribution.
