Campus facilities

Studying at the Fryers Street campus, you'll have access to a range of specialist training facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.

Nursing Labs

The Nursing labs are set up to replicate a real life nursing ward, giving students on-campus replicas of actual hospital settings with practice mannequins. Nursing and health students have access to SIMMAN patient simulator and the realistic SynDaver, which creates life-like patient scenarios such as cardiac arrest and lung failure.

Professional Kitchen

Students taking courses in Commercial Cookery, Baking, or Hospitality will practice their skills in our commercial kitchen and bakery, and serve up a feast for their fellow students and members of the public in our campus Restaurant and Cafe. Students will learn from their experienced trainers, we have even had the likes of Tobie Puttock as a special guest chef to teach students about their niche cuisines or talents

Salons & Spas

Hairdressing, Barbering, and Beauty students put their skills into practice at the Day Spa and Salon, operating the Vichy Shower and offering a range of hair and beauty treatments to the local community

Technical workshops

The Fryers Street campus is also home to state-of-the-art workshops, where our Automotive and Engineering students can practice technical skills in an environment that replicates a real job site.

Study Support and Career Advice

This campus is home to our GOTAFE Library and Bookshop, and also includes a Skills and Jobs Centre that welcomes walk-ins seeking study advice.
