Post date: 29th November 2023

A series of information sessions beginning this week will help prospective students explore study options with GOTAFE.

Some 13 free sessions are available between Tuesday, 28 November and Monday, 15 January.

The online sessions will be hosted by trainers and careers advisors who will step participants through what to expect from courses, as well as support available to students who study with GOTAFE.

Careers Advisor Narelle Lowe said the sessions offered an ideal way to explore study opportunities in a supported way.

“People are beginning to make plans for what they would like to do next year,” Narelle said.

"Whether you are a school-leaver, looking to upskill or change careers, it is important to have as much information as possible before making decisions."

Narelle Lowe, Careers Advisor

“We’re here to support our community each step of the way, and in the information sessions we will explain what that support looks like.”

The sessions will cover a range of topics and study areas, including:

  • Nursing
  • Hospitality, Baking and Commercial Cookery
  • Early Childhood Education and Care and Community Services
  • Agriculture and Horticulture
  • Animal Care and Services
