GOTAFE Shepparton Fryers Street campus is home a state-of-the-art facility providing students an opportunity for real-life training and enabling Shepparton to develop into a destination for Victorian foodies. The facility includes an operational café open to the public with classrooms and multi-functional spaces that support learning opportunities for barista, hospitality and cookery students. A $1 million commercial kitchen will follow later this year – creating the Shepparton Commercial Kitchen and Learning Hub. It will eventually house 735 students annually and will ensure highly skilled graduates have a direct pathway to the workforce.
Introduction to Espresso Coffee (SCCOFINT21)
Participants enrolled in this workshop will gain experience in the use and maintenance of espresso machines and the full espresso coffee menu. They will also gain knowledge in the production and service of espresso coffees.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA2RSAHO21)
Your staff will learn the laws and regulations around alcohol, and how to serve alcohol correctly so you're complying with the law. They will also receive a Certificate of Completion for the Responsible Service of Alcohol Program (RSA) for Victoria from the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation upon completion.
Food Safety Supervisor Course (SA2FOODS21)
This course describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to handle food safely during the storage, preparation, display, service and disposal of food. It requires the ability to follow predetermined procedures as outlined in a food safety program. The course applies to all organisations with permanent or temporary kitchen premises or smaller food preparation areas.
