Trevor Lee

Trainer | Occupational Health & Safety / Work Health & Safety
Trevor has over 30 years of vocational teaching experience with GOTAFE and other vocational education enterprises in the area of transport, logistics, and occupational health and safety.

Trevor’s passion is working with industry and sharing knowledge that he has collected along his journey of work and from the varied customers he has worked with. Trevor gets great joy watching changes being implemented within the business he works with.

Julie McHenry

Trainer | Business
Julie has 17 years of vocational teaching experience teaching at GOTAFE both in the classroom and at workplaces.

Julie has been involved in resource and assessment development ensuring her passion for business is always complimented with her expertise in education techniques. Julie keeps up to date with the latest industry trends and needs’, of which students she shares this knowledge with her students.

Kerri Symes

Trainer | HR/ Project Management
With 16 years at GOTAFE, the most inspiring aspect for Kerri is seeing the development in confidence that students gain, along with consolidating their knowledge and the further development of skills to assist in their own career progression.

The relationships, networks and knowledge that are developed during students’ studies, are reflected back into the communities.

Kate Kolarovich

Trainer | Enterprise Skills for Leaders
Kate has worked in the education field for close to 10 years, not only within the VET sector but also within primary and secondary schooling.

Originally as a qualified primary school teacher, Kate found her way into adult education while completing her post-graduate studies. While finishing a large portion of her studies via distance education, Kate developed a keen interest in learning within the online environment and has a passion for creating an interactive and valuable space for students to continue their studies outside of the traditional face-to-face classroom.

Annette Simkin

Trainer | Enterprise Skills for Leaders
Annette has over 25 years in designing, delivering, and assessing many vocational courses and has extensive educational networks.

Annette was the Account Manager and facilitator of the Food Processing training provided to Ridley Agriproducts for which GOTAFE won the Victorian Training Award in 2008. Passionate about education, Annette has held the roles of Training Facilitator, Training Manager, Industry Trainer, and Account Manager.
