Northern Victoria Institute of TAFE (NVITAFE) is the legal entity that has been formed following the amalgamation of GOTAFE and Wodonga TAFE.

NVITAFE was established to ensure equity of access to education, deliver expanded course offerings and stronger pathways, economies of scale and growth in specialisations and industry partnerships.

What this means for students

Students may see reference to Northern Victoria Institute of TAFE amongst GOTAFE and Wodonga TAFE materials, such as on invoices or receipts.

NVITAFE.

For apprentices who receive an Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment, when you apply for the funding, you will find GOTAFE (RTO 3094) registered as Northern Victoria Institute of Tertiary and Further Education, and Wodonga TAFE (RTO 3097) as Northern Victoria Institute of TAFE.

Your qualification or statement of attainment remain the same, as do your training and support services.
