GOTAFE supports the OMFNL v GVL Interleague Game
GOTAFE is a major sponsor of both the OMFNL and GVL and as such is proud to support the Interleague Game this Saturday.
These partnerships strengthen community ties and acknowledge the many values shared between GOTAFE and both leagues. All partners are committed to supporting young people through physical exercise and education and encouraging lifelong learning journeys.
GOTAFE CEO Travis Heeney said, “As a major sponsor of both leagues, we’re thrilled to be a part of the OMFNL v GVL Interleague Game."
"Sport is the lifeblood of regional communities, and the Interleague Game is the perfect example of community spirit and commitment to the wellbeing and development of young people."
GOTAFE is especially proud to be the naming rights sponsor of the OMFNL Netball Cup.
“GOTAFE encourages everyone to participate in sport and enjoy active lifestyles, especially young girls and women,” Mr Heeney said.
“We want to support women in education and in sport, so they can achieve their goals without worrying about judgment or stereotypes,” he said.
After two interrupted seasons due to COVID, both squads are eager to get back on the field to compete at the Interleague Game.
“This is a long-awaited match, so we anticipate a great day of football and netball action and fierce competition,” Mr Heeney said.
“Best of luck to all players on both sides,” he added.
The GOTAFE logo will be prominently displayed on OMFNL match day polo shirts, warm-up shirts and netball dresses, the GVL uniforms, and official matchday netballs and footballs.
GOTAFE’s partnership with OMFNL was announced earlier this year, while GOTAFE has partnered with GVL for many years and is the naming rights sponsor for the league.
The OMFNL v GVL Interleague Game will commence at 11.30am on Saturday 28 May at Mooroopna Recreation Reserve. GOTAFE’s Mobile Campus will be there to provide players and spectators alike with information and advice to help them achieve their career goals.
