Living Legend Racehorses
Six of the Living Legend racehorses will enjoy some R&R at GOTAFE’s Wangaratta Regional Study Centre on Tone Road for the next month
Six of the Living Legend racehorses are set to call Wangaratta home for the next month. The retired champion racehorses will be housed at GOTAFE’s Wangaratta Regional Study Centre on Tone Road.
This campus is also the home of GOTAFE’s National Centre of Equine Education. The racehorses are visiting while their paddocks at the Living Legends complex undergo some renovations.
Visiting racehorses are All Times Lucky, California Memory, Bullish Luck, Lucky Nine, Redkirk Warrior and Zavite Pretty.
GOTAFE CEO Travis Heeney says, “The public can come along to our Open Day to meet the champions. The event will allow visitors to get up close to these legends. There will be free jumping castles, face painting, music, pizzas and a BBQ, show jumping plus lots more activities. Everything is free and we encourage you to bring the family along. Our expert trainers will also be on hand to speak to you about study options at GOTAFE.”
Open day is running from 3pm – 8pm on Friday 6 September.
