GOTAFE secures a bright future for regional training
GOTAFE is proud to share that our registration has been confirmed for a further seven years, the maximum term that any training organisation can achieve.
The successful re-registration ensures GOTAFE can continue to deliver high-quality compliant education that meets the current needs of local industries. GOTAFE continues to invest in training in regional Victoria, delivering Free TAFE priority courses and undertaking major infrastructure projects including the new Seymour Trade Training Centre, the new Health precinct at our Seymour Campus on Wallis Street, the Shepparton Horticulture Hothouse at the William Orr Campus and the new Commercial Kitchen at the Shepparton Fryers Street campus, ensuring students learn using the latest industry tools, equipment, and facilities.
Travis Heeney CEO GOTAFE said “this is a fantastic achievement for GOTAFE and reinforces our commitment to provide high-quality education to students in regional Victoria.
“This is a whole of Institute effort and everyone here at GOTAFE has contributed to this success. I want to recognise the outstanding efforts of the trainers who deliver excellent training every day and all those involved in the re-registration process,” he said.
Training providers are registered by the national regulator Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), which conducts regular reviews to ensure providers meet regulatory obligations and educate students with the required skills and competencies for employment.
"Achieving a seven-year registration demonstrates our commitment to delivering vocational education and training into the future and drive positive outcomes for local students, communities and industries."
