GOTAFE and OMFNL to partner
Furthering its commitment to supporting local community, GOTAFE is pleased to announce a five-year sponsorship of the Ovens Murray Football Netball League.
The new partnership was announced on Tuesday, 22 March at GOTAFE’s Docker Street campus.
Travis Heeney CEO GOTAFE is excited to be partnering with the OMFNL because the sponsorship will enable GOTAFE to better support the region in accessing education, career and training services.
“GOTAFE want to be part of the journey to lifelong learning for young people in North-East Victoria. Our partnership will help us facilitate great outcomes for our communities and industry.", Mr Heeney said.
“We are delighted to be the naming rights sponsor for the netball. It is so important to encourage an active lifestyle and for everyone, including women and girls, to enjoy being active without worrying about judgement, gender stereotypes or skill level.
“We are really looking forward to working with the Ovens Murray Football Netball League to tell stories of football and netball players to inspire everyone to be more active and therefore healthier.”
This new partnership will see GOTAFE’s logo prominently positioned on match day footballs and netballs and uniforms. Additionally, the sponsorship gives GOTAFE naming rights to the netball cup which will be referred to as the GOTAFE Cup in A, B, C Grade and Under 17’s.

OMFNL are pleased to have GOTAFE onboard as a partner and sponsor said, General Manager Craig Millar.
“After a few challenging seasons, we are looking forward to the 2022 season, when we will be welcoming GOTAFE to our growing team of sponsors,” Mr Millar said.

The league is set to commence the football and netball season on April 2.
