Course Overview

This Introduction to Welding short course is ideally suited to someone who wants to learn the basics of welding and how to weld safely.

By the end of the course, you should be able to safely complete simple welding tasks and provide you with an introduction to manual metal welding and gas metal arc (MIG) welding.

It is an entry requirement to the course to be a minimum of 16 years of age; provide and wear non-flammable long pants, long sleeve top and safety footwear.

As part of the enrolment fee, you will be provided with an auto-darkening welding helmet, gloves and safety glasses (that are yours to keep at the end of the course).
