This three hour short course is the next step in your creative and design career, and enables you to complete the project you commenced in the product development course.
Students can utilise the Innovation Hub's laser cutter and engraver (2D cutting), 3D printer to replicate their design and also the CNC router.
This three hour short course can lead to Certificate II in Engineering Studies 22470VIC where students can pursue a career in the engineering, design, manufacture, installation and repair through a pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship.
Students can also go onto study Certificate IV in Engineering MEM40105, the recognised qualification to become a qualified Mechanical Engineering Trades Worker. Learn computer numerical control (CNC) for brake pressing, rolling and plasma cutting. Programmable logic control (PLC) for running process machinery. You can focus on maintenance, fabricating products to industry standards, machining and tool making.
