Course Overview

If you're new to Adobe Illustrator or have basic skills and need the next step – this course is for you. Suited to marketing and social media professionals, designer's, business owners, teachers, students, and those who need to use Adobe Illustrator within their work role.

Learn to set up files from scratch, creating shapes, using text, mastering the pen tool, and managing layers. This training will help you learn industry skills and get you on your way to becoming a pro in Illustrator with time for Q&A and workshopping.

Training includes:

  • navigating within a document
  • bounding box
  • guides and grides
  • saving files
  • creating text formatting
  • pen tool
  • pathfinder
  • effects and colour and more.

Studying during COVID-19 Restrictions

Material fees cover costs associated with the following where applicable, and not limited to:

  • Classroom activity consumables, handouts and booklets
  • E-Learning resources and associated license access fees
  • Excursions

Additionally some courses require students to purchase or supply text books, kits, tools, uniforms and personal protection equipment. Some specific materials may be purchased through the GOTAFE Bookshop.
