Course Overview

Large enterprises depend heavily on the smooth operation of their network infrastructures. This final course in the CCNA (The Cisco Certified Network Associate) series describes the architectures and considerations related to designing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise networks.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Work with routers and switches using OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) in point-to-point and multiaccess networks.
  • Mitigate threats and enhance network security using access control lists and security best practices.
  • Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills using Cisco Packet Tracer.
  • Understand virtualisation, SDN, and how APIs and configuration management tools enable network automation.

The Cisco Networking Academy® CCNAv7.02 curriculum is designed for participants who are seeking entry-level jobs in the ICT industry or hope to fulfill prerequisites to pursue more specialised ICT skills. Participants who pass the final exam with a mark of 80% or higher will be eligible for a voucher to complete the exam for CCNA certification.

This is CISCO industry-accredited training. Upon successful completion, participants will gain a Certificate of Completion and a digital badge from CISCO that they can share on their LinkedIn profile.*

*Please note: these industry accredited programs are not recognised under the national Australian Qualifications Framework.
