Course Overview

This course is perfect for anyone who owns or is working in an existing small business, or those who are looking to start one up. Participants will learn how to bring a product or service to the world by creating a dynamic online website presence using WIX.

This course will show learners how to design, build and launch a small business website. Topics covered include:

  • Planning website structure
  • Developing website content
  • Creating website pages
  • Selecting and using a web hosting service
  • Testing and critically evaluating the website

Trainer Jason Herrod has many years of experience in web design and IT, as well as running his own business for more than 15 years. This course is offered online for six weeks on Thursday evenings from 5-8pm.

This is non-accredited training. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Studying during COVID-19 Restrictions

During COVID‐19 lockdown periods, this course will have the majority of the training delivered using online methods of teaching and communication while students engage from home with their trainers. Any required practical components of the course will be moved to a more appropriate time later in the year.
