Gain the skills you need to succeed in your studies through the Gaining the Edge program. Participating in the program, you will learn essential language, digital, and interpersonal skills to ace your studies and step into the workplace with confidence. This flexible and free program runs alongside your course at GOTAFE as an optional add-on.

How Gaining the Edge works

The 16-week program is made up of four modules which cover:

  • Digital literacy

  • Learning to learn

Modules can be taken at the same time, or one after the other based on your needs. More detail on each module can be found below.

The program can be delivered at any GOTAFE campus, subject to demand, with a mixture of face-to-face and online learning. At the end of the program, you’ll receive a non-accredited certificate.

This program is being delivered in partnership with the Centre for Continuing Education.
