We're excited to let you know about scholarships and grants to help you complete your studies.
From time to time local businesses, organisations or government offer scholarships and grants across various learning areas and study departments. They aim to help cover the tuition of your studies. We will list them here when they are open for application.
VIC TAFE Network Hospitality Scholarship Program
Looking to enrol in the SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery at GOTAFE? You could be eligible for a scholarship to the value of $10,000 through the Victorian TAFE Network Hospitality Scholarship Program.
The program was introduced to address shortages of skilled labour in the Victorian hospitality industry in both regional and metropolitan Victoria and to support new talent with career opportunities.
You can apply for the program twice a year.
- Scholarships awarded for semester 1 – open between November and January.
- Scholarships awarded for semester 2 – open between May and June.
Wine Australia Scholarship
Are you interested in further study in viticulture or wine?
Wine Australia is offering $3,300 scholarships towards tuition fees for students enrolling in GOTAFE’s Diploma of Viticulture or Diploma of Wine Technology (course fees are approximately $6,000 to $7,000).
The Diploma of Viticulture suits those wanting to build skills in vineyard management and grape production for supervisory or management roles. Students must be self-employed, employed, or able to work in a vineyard.
4 Scholarships available- one for each discipline in 2026 and 2027

The Diploma of Wine Technology prepares students to work in wineries or manage small wine-making businesses. Students must be employed in, or able to work in, a winery.
