The GOTAFE Way

The GOTAFE Way

GOTAFE is committed to creating an organisation of proud, dedicated and committed individuals working together to achieve our mission.

We are working to build a dynamic environment, a place you will feel rewarded for your efforts and where you will be part of something you can be truly proud of.

Our vision is to create:

"A thriving organisation known for inspiring, motivating and equipping people for success."

Working with our values

GOTAFE is fostering a values-driven culture that is built around relationships and community, mutual respect, diversity, and a strong commitment to integrity, collaboration, and connectivity.

Our values define how we, as employees, do things around here. We are GOTAFE – as a service we can’t separate our people from the education and services we deliver.

Our values guide our behaviours, decision making, the way we engage with our students and the impact we have on our stakeholders.

What is the GOTAFE Way?

The GOTAFE Way is how we bring our GOTAFE values to life. How we go about achieving our goals is just as important as achieving them.

The GOTAFE Way outlines what behaviours and ways of working we will accept and which ones we won’t. Our actions, the decisions we make, the way we relate in our day-to-day interactions with our students goes a long way in determining a student’s experience with GOTAFE.

GOTAFE is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment, free from discrimination.

We embrace our Social Justice Charter, which articulates how we ensure equality and inclusivity for all. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First Peoples and as Traditional Owners and Custodians of this Land. We celebrate diversity and value the lived experience of people of every ethnicity, faith, age, disability, culture, language, gender identity, sex and sexual orientation.
