You’ll learn from our industry experienced Trainers. We teach on campus and hands on through field trips to show you local conservation projects and challenges. Learn land management in action.
This qualification provides a first-hand experience of what it is like to work in the landscape industry. This program is ideal as a pre-apprenticeship course or a springboard for further study. You’ll work in a team to plan and build a series of landscape projects based around the GOTAFE William Orr Campus.
You’ll learn how to construct paving, retaining walls, irrigation, plant selection and propagation, soil structure plus garden bed preparation and planting.
This course can be undertaken as Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS)/ Technical Education Centre/TEC or as a Apprentice/Trainee. Course undertaken as a dual qualification with AHC20416 Certificate II in Horticulture
This program provides the skills and knowledge required to build a range of landscape installations. Students will learn how to estimate and prepare quotations for landscape projects; interpret landscape design plans, develop horticultural skills and construction techniques on how to lay pavers and block work, build retaining walls, plan and construct irrigation and drainage systems.
Passionate about landcare? With the Certificate III, you’ll discover how to restore the balance between people and the environment. We have the best learning facilities in regional Victoria right here at GOTAFE. Gain experience in weed control, revegetation, plant identification and plant propagation. Focus on national parks, revegetation and land rehabilitation.
