GOTAFE was my first choice for study, I wanted to stay local and I chose GOTAFE because of the industry-based training provided. Because my long term goal was to gain employment in the graphic design industry, it was the best choice for me.
Studying with GOTAFE also enabled me to move back in with my parents, making it financially possible for me to return to study. I worked for 12 months after Year 12 and then enrolled into the Diploma.
The teachers were all experienced and very knowledgeable, and they were so supportive to me and all of the class. I really enjoyed my time at GOTAFE, I learned a lot, but also met some really great people and had a good time.
The course not only further developed my passion for the graphic design industry, while still studying it also lead to a part time job as a designer with the Prominent Group in Shepparton. I’ve now been working with them fulltime since February 2011 as a direct result of undertaking my study with GOTAFE.
