Pathways to University

GOTAFE offers a range of pathway programs that provide an alternative to direct entry into university. Many universities recognise GOTAFE qualifications and provide credit into their courses, usually from Diploma level qualifications and above. GOTAFE has established partnerships with the following universities; Federation University Australia (formerly University of Ballarat), Deakin University, La Trobe University, Charles Sturt University and University of Melbourne.

Charles Sturt University (CSU)

  • CSU Scholarships for GOTAFE students into CSU programs valued at $2,500
  • Guaranteed entry for TAFE Diploma or Advanced Diploma graduates

Deakin University

  • Bachelor of Applied Management Studies – Bachelor of Commerce or Management

University of Melbourne

The Dookie Campus of the University of Melbourne is the site for the delivery of the third part of the University’s Bachelor of Agriculture Degree. At the Dookie Campus the students have access to resources including a commercial enterprise farm, a cropping and grazing operation, a dairy, a vineyard and an orchard. Through short residential stays on campus, students will experience first-hand the seasonality and interdependence of agricultural production systems.
