The Community Services sector is all about helping people live better, healthier lives. As a Welfare Support Worker, you’ll provide support, information and advice to clients on emotional, financial, recreational, health, housing and other social welfare matters, and evaluate and coordinate the services of welfare and community service agencies.
Study either the Certificate IV in Community Services (CHC42015) or the Certificate IV in Disability (CHC43155) and start your pathway to a career with above average employment prospects over the next five years. The Community Services program will be delivered at Academy of Sport, Health and Education (ASHE) in conjunction with GOTAFE where you can study in a supportive environment with Indigenous Mentors and study support available.
