Hospitality Summer Schools

GOTAFE is offering three Hospitality Summer Schools for people wanting to gain vocational skills for employment in the Hospitality industry.

The Hospitality Summer School courses are competency based and will provide participants with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to meet relevant industry standards.

Summer schools will be held at: Shepparton - 23 November

9am - 4pm Monday to Friday for 3 weeks

Seymour - 23 November

9am - 4pm Monday to Friday for 2 weeks

Topics include:

- Responsible service of alcohol
- Operating a bar
- Clean and tidy bar areas
- Kitchen attending
- Food and beverage service
- Operate a fast food outlet
- Follow Health, Safety & Security Procedures
- Coffee Making
- Follow workplace hygiene procedures

Seymour Summer School topics include:

- Bar and coffee skills
- Practical Cafe skills, including coffee making
- Responsible service of alcohol /(RSA)
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Food hygiene (Food Handlers Certificate)
