Patisserie showcase of students talents

All things sweet and delicious will be showcased at the Fryers Street Campus of GOTAFE on Friday 28th November from 3.00 to 5.00pm as students from the Certificate IV in Hospitality (Patisserie) display their talents.

This showcase will feature some of the best work from students studying the course and will give them the opportunity to visually display their ideas, celebrate their work and gain recognition for their talents.

Pieces will include chocolate models, marzipan sculptures, sugar centrepieces, decorated cakes and much more. The patisserie extravaganza will be held in the Bakery Department of Innoven, corner Corio and Stewart Street entrance of the campus.

Admission is free and members of the public and the baking and local restaurant trade are invited to attend. Secondary school students and their parents and those interested in courses in the bakery field are encouraged to attend. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
