GOTAFE sponsor the Powercor Business & Service Excellence Awards again in 2012

GOTAFE is sponsoring the Powercor Business & Service Excellence Awards again in 2012. From March to August GOTAFE encourages businesses to nominate themselves for the Business Excellence Awards, with nominations acepted monthly.

GOTAFE Business Development Manager, Fiona Le Gassick said she is delighted to sponsor the Workplace Training Award.

“Sponsoring the workplace training category enables GOTAFE to support local businesses by providing training resources to assist employers to further invest in their staff,” said Fiona.

“It is a win-win situation for both the employer and employee, the employer gets trained, capable and engaged staff and staff can build on their skills and even gain formal qualifications to support their career goals.  

“Last year we awarded the $2,500 cash prize  and personalised plaque to a deserving winner, the Telstra Shop, Shepparton. We hope to find another worthy winner in 2012.”

Nominations run for 20 weeks with 10 finalists announced fortnightly on 95 3SR FM from May to September, 2012.
