When students are getting ready for a role in the caring profession, community is everything. It’s this sense of community that GOTAFE creates which fosters a safe, supportive space for our students to grow, support each other and be challenged. So they emerge confident, capable and ready to thrive. Our graduates emerge with the latest techniques, ready to put their knowledge to work.
GOTAFE offer programs from Certificate II in Health Services, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, HACC or Disability), right up to the Advanced Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2). Our VET in schools program gives students the chance to study Certificate III in Health Services Assistance. We support you through the enrolment process. Our experienced instructors will help you navigate your way to the right choice for your career goals, whether that’s paediatric nursing, or accident and emergency.
Division 2 Nursing offers chances to work in many different settings. Accident and Emergency, Midwifery and Intensive Care all offer opportunities for Division 2 Nurses. You could work in community care, mental health and rehabilitation. With our relationship with La Trobe University, you’ll can move straight into studying a full Bachelor of Nursing.
