Certificate III in Community Services will give you a variety of essential, practical skills and operational knowledge to support entrance into the community services field. It also provides you with the foundational knowledge for entrance into the Certificate IV in Community Services.
Certificate IV in Community Services builds on your knowledge and skills in the field. This is the entry level you will require when applying for positions in the field of community services. Your GOTAFE trainers will provide you with the opportunity to learn the theory behind the practice. Our trainers are current in their area of expertise and able to share that knowledge in the class room, and also draw upon industry for guest speakers to support further learning and understanding. They are here to support you and enable a positive experience and outcome. This is a pathway into the Diploma of Community Services.
Certificate IV in Disability equips you to offer a holistic approach to service delivery to persons who have a disability. This course will teach you how to effectively communicate with all stakeholders that offer support in this area of service delivery. This qualification can lead to leadership roles. We also have the opportunity to offer you and introductory course to the NDIS in the near future.
