Certificate IV in Logistics

This course is for people who have the desire to create or consolidate a career in the logistics industry. The course is aimed at a supervisory or leading hand role and is suitable for those already in the role or who are planning for a career progression. The topics covered are applicable to operations in all supply chains with clients able to specialise in either a transport or warehouse stream.

Career Opportunities

Successful completion of this course will enable the participant to enter into a role as a Leading Hand or Supervisor in a business that has a supply chain function or a logistics based business or it will give participants in these industries a better understanding or an upgrading of their skills and knowledge of their role within those businesses.

Duration & Delivery

This course will be delivered over 12 months.

Assessment

Participants are assessed via completion of required tasks and a demonstration of skills, eg. Written and verbal assignments, practical work, classroom participation, projects and/or written tests.

Practical Placement

No Practical placement is required

Qualification

The Certificate IV in Logistics is a nationally recognised qualification.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is an evidence gathering assessment process where an individual's skills and knowledge in a specific vocational area are assessed against a unit or units of a nationally accredited training package. Thus enabling them to gain part or all of a formal qualification. Contact the teaching department for further advice on RPL or request an information brochure from the Customer Service Centre.

Study Mode

This course can be completed in the classroom at our Shepparton Campus or online in a virtual classroom, the online virtual classroom enables students to study in almost any location, but still enjoy the interaction with other students and learn from each other¿s experiences.

Fees
The standard hourly fee for this course in a Government subsidised place is $2.17.
A funded student can expect to pay no more than $1,801.10 in tuition fees to complete this course.
