The aim of this course is to up-skill Enrolled Nurses to deliver care in emergency nursing situations.
Skills/ knowledge included:
-Undertake thorough patient assessment
-Understand the triage system
-Understand the needs of different emergency presentations including cardiac, respiratory, trauma and neurological conditions and obstetric emergencies
-Utilize the equipment required to assess these patients
