This course has been designed for students who wish to further develop skills in the areas of Programming, Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation, Network Connectivity, Network Security, Network Troubleshooting, Information Technology Management, Training, Project Management and other support areas of the Information Technology Industry. Subject areas include programming, network infrastructure, design and implementation; network connectivity, security and troubleshooting; information technology management; project management and training and other support areas.

Entry Requirements
Prospective students must have completed Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking). Students who have not completed the Certificate IV will have their eligibility assessed during an interview.

Pathways
Successful completion of this course will allow students to gain credits into university for further study.

Career Information
The program aims to develop the knowledge and skills suitable for employment in the area of Network Management, Administration, Design and Implementation.

Assessment
Participants are assessed via completion of required tasks and a demonstration of skills, eg. Written and verbal assignments, practical work, classroom participation, projects and/or written tests.

Study mode
This course can be completed on campus.

Skills Recognition is an assessment-only process - there is no formal training involved, although you may choose to complete further training as a result of the assessment process. Fees
The standard hourly fee for this course in a Government subsidised place is $2.92.
A funded student can expect to pay no more than $3,036.80 in tuition fees to complete this course.
