A career in nursing seemed out of reach for mother of two young children, Amy Bryce-Singh.
“I thought my dream of becoming a nurse was unattainable, as I left school at Year 9 but GOTAFE helped me
develop the skills I needed.
“I would recommend the pathways program to anyone who has left school and needs some support to get into a Diploma.
“I want to share my story to inspire other Indigenous Australians – GOTAFE can help you get into the course you want.”
The pathways into health programs is supported by the Learning Skills Unit and is designed for early school
leavers who require assistance to improve literacy and numeracy skills.
