the skills to become an effective Manager
This practical degree will turn your Diploma and Advanced Diploma into an undergraduate degree with just one extra year of full time study. You’ll consolidate your people, project and resource management skills with the key knowledge needed to take a business to the next level.
Applied means you learn the most current project, people and resource management skills that can be used immediately in your workplace. It’s about creating great managers, one that every employer wants to hire and every employee wants to work for. A great manager is a person that understands their staff and the industry they work in – it’s about being a great motivator.
This program has been developed by Federation Business School to challenge the traditional method of obtaining a three year undergraduate degree and is delivered in partnership with Federation University.

Meet Andrew. He is a Skills Adviser with Ai Group and recently completed the Bachelor of Applied Management and while his resume boasts a number of qualifications, this was the first time he had undertaken a university degree.
“I thought I was too old. I have had a career of varied experiences and collected many formal and informal skills along the way, but considered that maybe that was going to be the limit of my education. However, when presented with the BAM opportunity, the applied nature of the content and the way it was delivered appealed to me.
My goal initially, was to just validate my skills, knowledge and experience against a rigorous educational standard, but as I progressed through the course; my desire to gain more knowledge grew.
It was a tremendous journey! Studying with many other like-minded, experienced and focussed people made the process enjoyable. We all had significant industry experience so where able to easily relate to the subject matter and apply it almost immediately in our workplaces.”
