Meet Andrew. He is a Skills Adviser with Ai Group and recently completed the Bachelor of Applied Management and while his resume boasts a number of qualifications, this was the first time he had undertaken a university degree.

“I thought I was too old. I have had a career of varied experiences and collected many formal and informal skills along the way, but considered that maybe that was going to be the limit of my education. However, when presented with the BAM opportunity, the applied nature of the content and the way it was delivered appealed to me.

My goal initially, was to just validate my skills, knowledge and experience against a rigorous educational standard, but as I progressed through the course; my desire to gain more knowledge grew.

It was a tremendous journey! Studying with many other like-minded, experienced and focussed people made the process enjoyable. We all had significant industry experience so where able to easily relate to the subject matter and apply it almost immediately in our workplaces.”
