"It was scary coming back to study, but I soon discovered that everyone was here to help me".
Corey Murray decided after being out of school for some 10-15 years, it was time for a career change. Although Landscape Gardening, which he had been doing since he left school following a Traineeship, had been an enjoyable way to earn a living, he was ready for his next challenge.

"Returning to study is very daunting when you are a bit older, you don't know what to expect or if you'll be able to cope with it. The staff support at Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE is just unreal, I felt they were with me every step of the way."

Corey's new career as a Division 2 Nursing is like a dream come true. "I have always enjoyed working with and helping people. Every day is new and something different. I work between wards and I love the variety.'

"My study gave me a new direction. I can't help myself, I tell everyone I see that there is so much to learn, discover and experience by studying at TAFE. The world opens up.
